Milo Newman's work explores environmental narratives using photography, writing and sound. Through these media his projects make use of the concept of landscape, and its histories, as a framework to open up ways of responding to the myriad ecological issues of the Anthropocene. These are often tied to specific geographical concerns, such as human relationships with place, and the more-than-human world.

The artworks he makes around these themes are informed by both archival material and first-hand experience of specific landscapes, and are given context by more academically-orientated research.

He produces exhibitions, installations, and artist’s books.
